Ideally, a coach helps you get to a place where you don’t need coaching. But we all can use someone to stand by our side, and help us reflect, make choices, take action, and look at feedback from our results.
My approach to coaching is direct and warm. I start by expecting you to be the expert in your situation, and my role is to manage the process. Some people will work for a specific outcome in the short term, and be done. Others will continue for a longer term look at more essential issues of performance.
